Material selection:

Our cryogenic solenoid valves are made from materials that can withstand extreme temperature changes and maintain their mechanical properties at cryogenic temperatures. Typically stainless steel, brass, and bronze are used for valve components due to their low thermal conductivity, excellent corrosion resistance, and compatibility with cryogenic fluids.

Seals and gaskets
Seals and gaskets in cryogenic solenoid valves need to be made from materials that remain flexible and maintain their sealing properties at very low temperatures. We use elastomers like PTFE (Teflon), PCTFE (Kel-F), and FKM (Viton) as they have low-temperature flexibility and high chemical resistance.

Thermal Expansion and Contraction
Cryogenic solenoid valves experience thermal expansion and contraction of their components due to extreme temperature changes. This can cause valve components to change shape, leading to potential leaks or malfunction. Our designs such as larger tolerances and clearances are incorporated to accommodate these changes.

Insulation and Heat Transfer:
If heat transfer is an issue, these valves can include insulation like vacuum jackets or multiple layers of insulation materials. This helps to prevent the valve components from freezing and keeps the external surfaces at a safe temperature for handling.

Extended Bonnet Design:
In some designs, cryogenic solenoid valves may have an extended bonnet design that keeps the solenoid coil and other electrical components away from the cold fluid. This helps to protect the electrical components from extreme cold and prevent the formation of frost or ice on the coil, which could affect the valve's operation
